I was supposed to go to Mammoth and snowboard with my co-worker but due to the work thang I couldn't. I decided to take a picture of a snow capped mountain. I don't know why. I think I'm a sadist. I like torturing myself. Whatever.
I managed to go to a mall in the area, just to walk around and give myself something to do. Then I came upon this horrid show of terror. Yeah, raise your hand if you've ever seen a child talent show pageant thingy. Anyone? Well it's degrading and disturbing all at once. In my very humble opinion, It's worse than being in porn. If anyone told me that their little girl was being dolled up and flaunted around, I'd have to slap them. Theses are little kids, not more than 9. Little girls were walking around in swimsuit. What the hell is so attractive about trotting your young daughter around in a fake tan and a swimsuit when's she's 9?! I would have taken a camera pic of the girls but didn't want to seem like a perv so I snuck one of the boys. Which incidentally I didn't know even existed. Boys in a pageant? How many times would a kid get beat up for that one, especially a boy. Ugh!
I also went to a bookstore. My sense kept me from buying the book above. Chuck freakin Norris!
Last but not least the puupy. I was reading a local "Guardian" like free newspaper publication and I arbitrarily opened up and saw this page. I was sick. I can;t believe that they advertise real living animals like this. Put a down payment on my puppy. Bite me. And how they are a proud partner of the ASPCA, yeah in your head. L.A. - pssscchhh!
