My Starbucks Experience

I quite frequently visit my local Starbucks. Today, Daly City was a crisp and biting 52 degrees with thick fog. But apparently I never got the weather memo (according to this motorcycle riders attire). I guess it was really a warm dry day.

And here is yet another pet peeve. Literally, it's a "PET" peeve. According to California Health and Safety code Section 114259.1, 114259.5

114259.1.  The premises of each food facility shall be kept clean and
free of vermin(a.k.a. Yappy Dogs).

114259.5.  (a) Except as specified in subdivision (b), live animals may
not be allowed in a food facility.

114045. (a) Except as otherwise provided in subdivision (b), no live animal, bird, or fowl shall be kept or allowed in any food facility.(b) Subdivision (a) does not prohibit the presence, in any room where food is served to the public, guests, or patrons, of a guide dog, signal dog, or service dog, as defined by Section 54.1 of the Civil code, accompanied by a totally or partially blind person, deaf person, person whose hearing is impaired, or handicapped person, or dogs accompanied by persons licensed to train guide dogs for the blind pursuant to Chapter 9.5 (commencing with Section 7200) of Division 3 of the Business and Professions code.

Basically no animal can come into any food establishment unless you're gonna eat it or you need it to assist you. Simple. I mean really people. Do you have to drag the damn dog everywhere? God gave him legs, he CAN walk and for that matter he has an ass that CAN sit in the car. It's disgusting. I've even seen them at restaurants in the owners lap eating off the same table and even plate. ICK! It's so disgusting! Keep them out of the food and retail establishments unless it's PetSmart or other pet-friendly establishment, in which case GO RIGHT ON!
And while Starbucks does not hold a high potential for food contamination, I'm just laying down the way I feel overall. It just so happens that I got a picture of this offender. You offend me offender!
