I Miss the Other Half of My Tooth

So I've had this pain in my mouth for a few weeks. I kind of thought it would work itself out so I didn't aggravate it by chewing on the left side. Well, last week it got pretty serious, my high tolerance for pain went out the door and I made an emergency appointment with my Dentist (Cue Little Shop of Horrors song). He suspected that I had fractured my tooth whilst grinding it at night which I frequently do. I've even caught myself during the day grinding. It managed to fracture horizontally and now I have a temporary crown whilst my official crown is being made. I can't really recall the last time I had a drill in my mouth. All I know is that it took shots of Novocain to make me feel ok about this whole thing and an 800 mg Ibuprofen. *sigh* Stress.
