My whole life I've been a carnivore. Meat, cheese, dairy, bacon, meat and more bacon. The master cleanse is used as a detox rather than weight loss even though weight loss is part of the overall result. Well, I'm not trying to lose weight, rugby is doing a great job of taking care of that. I do feel like I need a change though. I haven't had a home cooked meal in literally months well at least one and a half. All I have been eating is catered food at work and all that processed junk. I've decided that my body should go through an epic cleansing of toxins and junk in general. I've done a fair amount of research and a few people here at work have done it. One guy dropped out because he couldn't take not eating. I'm a pretty strong willed person when I put m mind to it. So today is day 1.
Day 1: The salt water flush is like swimming in the ocean with your mouth open. It is used to flush out the bowels. The gravity of the water with grey sea salt in it is the same as blood so it is not absorbed into the system but passed straight through. This lemonade is not that bad, the maple syrup is helping to sweeten up the concoction so it's bearable . . . for now.
