After not sleeping well and being in mild pain from getting back into sports, I decided last night I had to go the extreme and force sleep upon me. I'm young and while my liver and I have a great relationship, I think the Master Cleanse diet should balance out what I did to myself last night and today. Last night after beach rugby and a sweet bruise on my arm and a sore ankle I needed to medicate myself so I could get a full nights sleep. I took 2 Tylenol Pm, chewed it into a chalky mash and downed a beer. This was at 10pm. I figure I would lay down and read to wait for the meds to kick in. 11:30 rolls around and I don't feel tired in the slightest. In my frustration I get up to organize some stuff and . . . holy hell. It hit me. I instantly felt drunk, my balance was all off and if I had to speak to anyone I'm sure I would be slurring. I stumbled back into bed and the next thing I knew my alarm was goin off! Success, at the cost of meds and alcohol.
Today I have eaten 6 turtles (pecans, caramel and chocolate)
2 whole chunks of seared ahi
1 filet mignon
1 bagel and a heap of cream cheese
1 yogurt
1 pringles mini can
2 oranges
1 apple
1 Ginger ale (I should say I haven'thad soda in like 2 weeks)
1 handful of granola
4 pieces of Bazooka bubble gum
4 pieces of cake
2 beers
and it's only 4. We're doing a new thing at work where we celebrate all of that months birthdays in that month all at once. So there will be cake and beer later.*sigh*
Well at least I got the sleep I have been needing. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to write an apology letter to my liver.
