It's that time again for an oil change. I went to a Jiffy Lube that is near where I stay and was starting to get scammed. The hood was up on my car and the technicians were gathering and prepping my car for an oil change. There is a sheet that mechanics give to a service writer that suggested I have my wiper blades changed. Which would have been all well and good but I quite literally changed them myself the night before. I had heard of stuff like this happening and thought, just like everyone else, "scamming can't happen to me, I'm too smart" or whatever. Well, I had them stop doing whatever they were doing so that I could just drive away. If someone can't tell the difference between a new wiper blade and an old one; how can I trust them to know the difference between the radiator cap and oil cap or the oil filter and the fuel filter. Lesson learned. Pay more get better and more trustworthy service. Psschh L.A. (Yeah, it happens everywhere but just one more reason not to like LA)
