OK. Hold onto something. Breathe.
This weekend I did the workout of my life (At least my life in LA). I pretty much spent 5 hours at the gym falling, making myself look like a fool. But I did it. I took two steps (I think you'd call them steps) whilst in a handstand. Yup. I couldn't do a handstand push up (least not yet) but I purposely took a "step" and came back down gracefully, as in I didn't take two steps and collapse into myself or fall over on something. It was pretty much awesome.
As of now, I can hardly move because my body is sore all over from the workout I did and the few hours I spent trying to get a solid handstand. I've been working on my handstand for a while now. using walls as support. I have a picture of a classmate bracing me as I'm doing a handstand on set. I can't post that picture because the movie is not out yet. Hopefully by the time the movie comes out I can walk and do push ups while in a handstand, not at the same time. BAH! you get the idea.
I am so sore right now it is close to ridiculous. But I'm drinking plenty of water and thank jeebus I bought some Cytomax when I was home, I forgot how well that magic juice works for sore muscles. Sadly, a side effect of all of my recent working out is bigger arms. I'm bringing a few jackets and shirts home because my arms are now officially too big for them. I mean, it was borderline before but now those articles of clothing make me look like I have sausage arms. I should add that I got a comment on the size of my arms by the guy at the front desk of the gym. *ahem ahem* and I quote. "Wow, You have big arms for a girl". No comment. =I
Saw another 15 minutes of the movie, rough cut of course, there are some added parts that are not in any other Christmas Carol story. It's pretty much going to be awesome and kick butt.
