Association Dinners

Every year my family has a huge dinner. It a Chinese thing. It's an Association dinner based on your family's name. SO, There are Louie , Chen, Lee and so on family dinners at giant banquet style restaurants. I happened to go to dinner at a restaurant here in LA and there was one here. It was a pretty big deal. Women were wearing traditional dresses and the men had full on tuxedos. On top of the normal karaoke I heard the song "one" form a chorus line. it was being really well sung so i figured it wasn't karaoke. I walked outside to see this.
Six older ladies in gold sequins jackets and red sequins hats dancing and tipping their hats to "One". If this isn't at my association dinner next year I'm gonna file a complaint.
