One of my first concerns going to London was food. Let's face it I'm hungrier that a hungry hungry hippo. Like all the time. I already knew the food in the UK wasn't that great. I went in knowing that keeping a Paleo diet was going to be pretty difficult. Aside from eating fish and chips I knew that I would have to really adventurous. One of the first meals I had was calves liver and bacon. I was sold on the bacon. I really wouldn't have eaten liver of any kind without trusty bacon by it's side.
Not a fan. Not. A. Fan.
First off, British bacon, not at all like UK bacon. OUR bacon is called "streaky bacon". Yummy, fatty, juicy bacon. British bacon is more like the big rounds of ham that people in AMerica fry up for breakfast. I personally like the fat and juicy nosity of American bacon. The side was, of course, like potatoes. Not a part of my diet. I was able to avoid it for the first few days but I had to break down while on set, I would have starved if I tried to keep on my diet.
