Well no not really. I say that for almost every weekend that I'm here. This weekend, in Oxnard, is the annual Strawberry festival. I figure it's hot enough down here to grow some pretty decent strawberries so it's worth it. Plus, the website said they had strawberry wine (which in itself is interesting). I also just bought tickets today for opening day of "Wall-E" at the El Capitan theatre. VIP! $27 and I get center balcony seats, a live pre-show, popcorn, soda and I don't have to wait in line. Pretty good deal considering theater prices these days.
I've been taking a lot of pictures lately. When I get the pics developed from my Dad's Nikon (circa 1970's) I'll be sure to post them, I've been working hard at being a 'photographer' instead of just taking pictures. Then one day I'll buy a digital Nikon SLR.
